After several meetings, top campus officials have decided toclose campus Wednesday and Thursday.
Classes are scheduled to resume Friday.
Student Government President Brad Golson who was present at themeeting said all residence halls will remain open as well as theHighland Dining Unit on the campus’ east side.
Golson said the Tiger Lair will be closed, but the Union willremain open.
The first meeting at 2 p.m. in the LSU Systems Buildingadjourned with no decision, pending addition weather updates.
The committee reconvened at 4 p.m and announced the Universitywill be informed of the cancellation via a broadcast e-mail.
The University has setup an emergency hotline, 578-INFO, toupdate the faculty, staff and students of important informationdealing with the storm.
