In honor of finals week slowly approaching, and the end of semester assignments piling up, here are a few places in Baton Rouge to change up where you study.
LSU’s campus can get crowded during the remaining weeks of the semester. Students may find that the PFT, campus library, Barnes and Noble, the Student Union and other typical study spots on campus may not have as much room as before in these last few test-filled weeks. If you find yourself in this situation, or just in need of a change of scenery, here are a few places near campus that are conducive to a positive and productive atmosphere to study.
Coffee Joy
Located at 3617 Perkins Road, this coffee shop near campus is an easy spot to get away to study in a semi-quiet atmosphere. During the month of November, in preparation for finals, Coffee Joy is offering a “10% Brewers for Success” promotion for students only. This limited-time deal will hopefully enable students to treat themselves while working. Coffee Joy has seating inside and outside, with soft, studious background music to enhance a productive mindset.
