LSU gymnasts, Aleah Finnegan and Kaliya Lincoln spoke to the media on Monday, before they travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas to face the Razorbacks on Friday.
Finnegan touched on how this week meet, can make them better as a team.
“Really excited for another travel competition. Another opportunity to compete on a setting that’s not the PMAC, we are really excited, Arkansas is a great team, we are gonna give everything we’ve got for this thing. Working up little things, cleaning up details.”
Meanwhile, Lincoln shared how was here first experience of competing as an LSU Gymnast.
“When I first stepped out to the PMAC, I was literally speechless. It’s literally an environment like no other. I had a little bit of nerves. The energy is very high, so many people cheering, so many people around you. At the same time, it’s just such an amazing opportunity to get out there and have this amazing opportunity that not many people get to have.”
The team will try to come back to Baton Rouge with a win, always focusing on the next five minutes.
