LSU Baseball got an exciting send off from the Tiger faithful as Jay Johnson and his team head to Omaha for the second time in three years.
The Tigers battled through Regionals before dominating West Virginia in the Supers, and now have a date with SEC foe Arkansas on Saturday night at 6 p.m. for the opening round of the College World Series.
Also on LSU’s side of the bracket is a matchup between number 15 National Seed UCLA, and the darlings of the tournament thus far, the Murray State Racers.
The Tigers will take on one of those two teams on Monday for Game Two, as Jay Johnson looks to enter the winner’s bracket for the first time in Omaha as a Head Coach.
