Artist Exhibit by Dayatra Laphand | East Baton Rouge Parish Library Bluebonnet Regional
Throughout the month of November, the art of Dayatra LaPhand, a Baton Rouge native, will be on display at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library. While attending Southern University and LSU, she received many awards for her works, which are often motivated by social and political events. The exhibit can be viewed throughout the day while the library is open and features some of her collages and paintings.
Fitness in the Stacks | East Baton Rouge Parish Library Bluebonnet Regional
All fitness levels are welcome to join the Fitness in the Stacks group every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. for a video-guided beginner aerobics class. Attendees can help cultivate an environment of encouragement and personal growth while beginning their day with exercise and energy.

Veteran’s Day at the Zoo | BREC’s Zoo
In honor of first responders and military personnel who have put their life on the line to protect the people of America, the Baton Rouge Zoo is waiving the entrance fee for anyone with a valid active or retired ID. This waived ticket includes a pass for up to five guests, allowing visitors to enjoy the zoo from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for free.

Department of Finance Movie Night: Commercial Banking Initiative | Business Education Complex, Auditorium
Featuring the Film “Too Big to Fail,” the Department of Finance Commercial Banking Initiative invites students of all degrees to their movie night. This film focuses on the high-speed nature of Wall Street and the race to prevent a financial crisis in America. The screening will last from 6 to 9 p.m., so bring a blanket and some snacks to settle in for this exciting movie.
3D Printer Badging Class | East Baton Rouge Parish Main Library, Tech Lab
To learn the basics of 3D printing and the softwares used for 3D printing programs, stop by the Main Library at Goodwood between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. The class will focus on downloading files to print and using the appropriate printing settings for projects. Attendees must be older than 10, and be a patron of the East Baton Rouge Parish Libraries.

LSU Gospel Choir | Broadmoor Baptist Church
In a celebration of music, spirituality and resilience, the LSU Gospel Choir will transport audiences to a place of worship and peace. Through powerful voices and jazz-infused gospel music, the audience will be treated to rich harmonies and a moment of reflection. Be sure to find a seat before 7:30 p.m. to ensure you don’t miss a single note of this performance.

Fall Figure Drawing | Glassell Gallery
Artists of all levels can visit the Glassell Gallery for an evening of figure drawing with LSU MFA ‘26 Serena Corson between 5 and 7 p.m. Although visitors must bring their own supplies, the gallery will provide a model and a spot to work to all attendees. Nothing fancy is necessary for these drawings; a pencil, paper and your imagination will bring your work to life.
Butterr & Friends Improv Collider Show | Manship Theatre Shaw Center for the Arts
Bringing together improv groups from around Louisiana can only lead to one thing: a night of laughter, joy and excitement. Groups Fish Tahco and Butterr from Baton Rouge will join Mawgawita Babies from Lafayette. Each will perform individually, with the night ending in a big mashup from the groups. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.

LSU vs. Arkansas | LSU Tiger Stadium
Travel into Death Valley alongside the LSU Tigers as they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Although kickoff is at 11:45 a.m., a full day of fun awaits visitors with tailgating and game day festivities taking place throughout campus. Before heading to the stadium, be sure to apply sunscreen and hydrate for a safe and fun gameday experience.
Discover Day: National Bison Day | Capitol Park Museum
History and animal lovers can make their way to the Capitol Park Museum between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to learn about Louisiana’s deep connection to the American Bison. For $5, visitors can explore the museum, participate in bison-themed crafts and learn about history, all at a discounted price.

Premiere Film Screening: The American Revolution | Louisiana Old State Capitol
Witness the hard work of filmmakers Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt through their PBS documentary on The American Revolution.
