Students were able to share their opinions on their score prediction and who they think will take home the win.
“LSU of course because I think they can start off strong and be consistent, which means they can also end strong,” Hadley Cronin said. “I’m thinking it’s going to be a close game, so I’m thinking 75-72.”
“South Carolina looks very well-rounded and I believe LSU is also well-rounded, but we also have some holes that could be exposed by Dawn Staley, so I think I have South Carolina winning,” Carmelo Wyre said. “My score prediction is a fairly close game. I would say 79-76.”
There’s some mixed opinions on who the students have winning the game, but here’s some background knowledge on both teams. South Carolina currently leads LSU for the all-time series 18-12 since 2001.
Both teams are coming off wins, with LSU traveling to Auburn, where they had an impressive defensive performance, beating them 77-44. On the other hand, South Carolina traveled to Tennessee where they pounded the Vols 93-50.
Both teams have something to lose as it’s coming down to the wire for the SEC Championship and March Madness. If you’re still trying to get tickets, it’s too late because it’s sold out, but you can catch the game on ESPN and see who comes out with the win.
