On Saturday afternoon, the LSU Tigers continued day two of their series against the No.19 Kentucky Wildcats.
There were a total of 11,268 paid tickets at Alex Box Stadium to see whether LSU takes another loss or adds a win to the three-day game series.
At the bottom of the second inning, infielder Zach Yorke flied out to left field, assisting infielder Seth Dardar to score for the Tigers.
Not too long after that, outfielder Mason Braun doubled to right field, helping outfielder John Pearson to achieve another point.
Towards the bottom of the fourth inning, Braun homered to right center, causing three runs batted in, where Zach Yorke and Seth Dardar scored, bringing the score to 5-0 LSU.
If once was not enough, infielder Steven Milam doubled down the right field line, causing two runs batted in as Yorke and Pearson crossed the plate once again.
In the sixth inning, Zac Cowan stepped in to pitch, replacing William Schmidt after delivering from the mound.
Throughout the game, Kentucky struggled to gain any achievement. Resulting in the final score being 7-0.
The third and final day of the series between the LSU Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats will be on Sunday, March 29th at 12:00 pm CT.
