Former LSU track and field athlete Jeremy Hicks won the men’s long jump title at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships with a jump of 26 feet and 2 ¾ inches on Saturday in New Mexico.
The second place jumper finished six inches behind Hicks’ mark.
This title is the third of Hicks’ professional career. The 2010 graduate won the same title in 2010 and 2011.
