Student arrested for felony damage to property
On Nov. 13, LSU Police Department officers were dispatched to the West Stadium Lot in reference to a complaint about property damage.
The victim told officers she was involved in a verbal dispute with Mallory A. Kiefer, 19, of 654 Jennifer Jean Drive, said LSUPD Spokesman Cory Lalonde.
After she parked, the victim told officers she witnessed Kiefer approach her vehicle and use a key to scrape it, causing $1,800 in damage, Lalonde said.
The victim was able to identify Kiefer in a photographic lineup and officers obtained an arrest warrant. They arrested Kiefer on Nov. 14, and she was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
