According to LSU women’s basketball coach Nikki Caldwell, junior guard Danielle Ballard has been suspended indefinitely from game competition.
Ballard will be allowed to practice with the team during her suspension. The reason for her suspension has not been released at this time.
“As a coach, there are times where we encounter disciplinary situations concerning our student-athletes,” Caldwell said in a news release. “Danielle has unfortunately been suspended for a violation of team rules.”
The Lady Tigers will take on Loyola in their first exhibition tonight at 7 p.m. in the PMAC.
