After splitting the first two matches of the Mortar Board Premier, the LSU volleyball team lost to No. 8 Purdue to close out their first weekend of play.
The Lady Tigers fell in three sets 17-25, 32-34, 22-25. Sophomore Briana Holman led the team with 14 kills. Juniors Cati Leak and Katie Lindelow contributed 10 and 9 kills respectively.
The Lady Tigers finish the weekend dropping two of three games. The team returns to action Friday in the Florida State Invitational against Central Arkansas.
