The Southeastern Conference office announced LSU junior outside hitter Katie Lindelow as the league’s last Defensive Player of the Week of the season Monday after she helped the Tigers in their 3-1 win against South Carolina in their regular season finale.
Lindelow tallied a season-high 22 digs against the Gamecocks on Saturday for an average of 5.5 digs per set, aiding LSU in holding South Carolina to a .115 hitting clip for the match.
The Tigers’ win helped seal their spot as one of five SEC teams in the NCAA Tournament. They will travel to Eugene, Oregon this week where it will face Oklahoma on Thursday.
