DJ Strangelove chats with Future Beats master AF THE NAYSAYER to talk video game inspiration, Dolo Jazz Suite, his love for West Coast G Funk, and the hot up and coming producers of south Louisiana.
Amahl Abdul-Khaliq, better known as AF THE NAYSAYER, is notorious for his slick Future Beats and smooth Downtempo tracks. Born and raised on the West Coast in Woodland Hills, CA, he ended up in south Louisiana moving from Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. AF THE NAYSAYER and a few friends hosted the first ever Dolo Jazz Suite about two years ago at Baton Rouge’s Chelsea’s Cafe. Now, the traveling Hip Hop/Jazz influenced Electronic music showcase travels throughout the south with hot headliners from all over the country.
