Episode Three begins with Grace and Zayday entering a convenient store. As they are shopping for snacks, the red devil appears. Grace fires her taser at the red devil’s lower body while Zayday pushes a wall of food on him. They rip off the mask to discover that it is Eugene from one of their classes, dressed up as the mascot.
Chanel and Chanel Number Five discover that Chanel Number Two’s body is missing. This drives a wedge between the two when Chanel Number Five decides that it’s not her problem. She’d much rather be sleeping with hot but dumb twins.
Meanwhile, Grace and Zayday look for Chanel Number Two in her bedroom and discover a stain in the floor. The girls think nothing serious of it until security guard Denise Hemphill enters and proves it is blood by spraying it with luminol. She admittedly carries it around to check that the employees of Arby’s don’t put horseradish on her sandwich. Denise thinks it is suspicious that Chanel Number Two tweeted about being murdered and now she’s missing. The three decide to go to Chanel Number Two’s house to talk to her parents.
Dean Munsch holds a “Take Back the Night” vigil for the students to change their pace. At the vigil, Chad breaks up with Chanel again and the dean introduces the new mascot, Coney, a giant ice cream cone. The students are not impressed.
At Chanel Number Two’s house, Grace, Zayday and Denise discover that she was dating Chad last year. He came over for Thanksgiving and met her parents. Her parent’s found a letter from Chad in her room as proof of their relationship.
In Grace’s Intro to Film Analysis class, she discovers her father is the professor. She deducts that he only did this to keep an eye on her. Grace storms out of the classroom. Wes shows “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” on the first day. All of the students look disturbed and one girl even throws up in her backpack. Gigi snuck in during the class and approaches him as the students are leaving. After some flirty talk, Wes asks Gigi on a salad date. She accepts as Dean Munsch enters. Munsch tells Gigi to stop by and play tennis with her sometime this week.
Coney is living the life. A “nobody” turned “famous,” he trots through campus hitting girls on the butt and discreetly staring at their chests. He steals money from the cafeteria in the middle of the day, because he can get away with anything now that he’s Coney. As he enters his room, the Red Devil appears with a chainsaw and cuts his head off. That concludes Coney’s reign of popularity.
Chanel catches Hester looking through her closet and is livid that she violated her space. She decides that if she gives Hester a make over, Chad will like her for doing something nice and having one less ugly pledge.
As Dean Munsch and Gigi play tennis together, Munsch tells her that they are moving into the Kappa Kappa Tau house as positive influences for the girls. Gigi thinks it’s a great idea. Munsch tells her that she’s terrible at tennis, so she is leaving. Before she goes, Munsch tells Gigi to back off her man because she calls dibs on Wes.
Chanel Number Three befriends the “lesbo” pledge as an alibi because she thinks she could be a target as the killer.
Chanel re-introduces Hester, now Chanel Number Six, to the girls. She’s clad in the couture clothes from Chanel’s closet and she no longer has her neck brace on. Chanel Number Five is angry because Chanel Number Six is just a pledge. They get into an argument. Chanel decides to haze the girls just as Dean Munsch and Gigi enter and with the packed bags.
Chad holds a Dickie Dollar Scholars meeting where the boys share that they don’t think Boone killed himself. They decided to throw a reverse “Take Back the Night” that involves dressing in all white, arming themselves with baseball bats and going on a hunt for the red devil. They do just that. As they are beating the crap out of anything red (a red car and fire hydrant), two red devils appear with chainsaws. The chainsaws tear the wooden bats apart, leaving the boys defenseless. Trying to save Chad’s life, one of the boys gets his arms cut off. During the whole scene, Backstreet Boys is playing in the background.
Grace meets with Pete and confesses she doesn’t think he is the killer. She believes it is Chad. Pete found a link to one of the names he found in the file, so the two decide to go find the person. It’s only a six-hour drive.
Meanwhile, Denise picks up Zayday off the streets and handcuffs her, convinced she is the killer. Her proof is a pin that says she wants to beat Chanel for Kappa president, a tweet to Shonda Rhimes (like last year) that Professor Keating should have an accomplice is she wants to get away with murder and a chainsaw that Denise found under Zayday’s bed. Zayday insists that she is crazy, and her grandmother gave her that chainsaw. Denise lets her go, but promises to keep an eye on her.
Wes and Gigi have their “salad date” in the Kappa house and Dean Munsch is the third wheel. Munsch and Gigi share a room together, but Gigi decides to sleep on the couch because Munsch has a “white noise” sound machine which plays awful sounds (whales distress noises, music for horror films and such) very loudly.
As soon as Gigi settles in, the red devil attacks with a chainsaw. Wes hears her screams from outside and runs to her rescue. His shoulder is cut by the chainsaw. Gigi knocks the red devil behind the couch where he disappears. Dean Munsch enters a few seconds later. Gigi and Wes are convinced she’s the killer.
