A stubborn driver who refused to pull over for campus police summoned several additional officers near the University’s East Campus Apartments on Saturday night.
After the driver finally stopped, he became combative, according to Capt. Cory Lalonde, LSUPD spokesman. The driver is now in LSUPD’s custody.
Lalonde did not identify the driver.
The situation caught the attention of many ECA residents as police lights flooded the area around 10:45 p.m.
