LSU’s volleyball team signed two recruits today.LSU coach Fran Flory said Madie Jones, a 6-foot-2-inch outside hitter from Plano, Texas, and Allyson Judkins, a 6-foot-1-inch middle blocker from Houston, both signed early letters of intent to play for the Tigers next season.Both were named to Prepvolleyball.com’s Top 50 players for the class of 2009.Flory said both signees have played on junior clubs that contended for a national championship.”With their level of experience and athleticism they are probably one of the best classes we have brought in since Kyna [Washington] and Elena [Martinez in 2004] in terms of their national experience prior to stepping into the college ranks,” Flory said.
