A private donor has offered a separate and independent $4,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects wanted for the murders of Kiran Kumar Allam and Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma, according to a statement released by the LSU Task Force.
The additional funds raise the total reward to $5,000. Crime Stoppers offers an existing reward of $1,000.
According to the statement, detectives are “actively investigating 3or 4 black male suspects, who were believed to have been seen in an older model, light-colored Oldsmobile Alero.
The double homicide of Allam and Komma occurred at the on-campus Edward Gay Apartments Dec. 13.
