BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Somewhat running against national trends, Louisiana’s state-licensed casinos saw their winnings from gamblers in November increase from over a year ago.State police say the 13 riverboats, Harrah’s downtown New Orleans casino and the four casinos at race tracks took in a shade under $215 million last month. That’s up from just under $203 million a year ago.The casinos won about $208 million in October.Other major gambling states, including Nevada and New Jersey, have been reporting sharp revenue drops in the face of the national recession and increasing competition for wagering dollars.
