Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves will speak at the kick-offevent for the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute fellows programtoday.
Graves will speak about his successes in business and give advice tostudents who hope to follow in his footsteps.
Jill Roshto, director of the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute,said Graves was chosen for the event because he is easily relatable tostudents.
“He’s local to the Baton Rouge area and highly visible,” Roshto said.”We think he’s a great example of entreneurship and someone studentscan relate to. He owns a business most people frequent.”
In addition to Graves’ speech, the event will also feature a giveawayof free Raising Cane’s for one year. Any student can enter and must bepresent to win.
The event begins today at 4:30 p.m. in the Cox Auditorium.
