LSU senior defensive end Rahim Alem earned Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance Saturday, the league office announced Monday.
Alem had seven tackles one sack and broke up a pass in LSU’s 23-9 victory against Vanderbilt.
LSU hosts Louisiana-Lafayette in Tiger Stadium on Saturday at 6 p.m.
