Head Coach Ed Orgeron confirmed that star running back Derrius Guice will play against Syracuse after a week of uncertainty. Guice missed the first three practices this week due to sustaining a left knee injury against Mississippi State.
“He practiced pretty good today, so he is going to get some snaps,” Orgeron said.
Coming off a 30-point loss to the Bulldogs, the Tigers prepared for their matchup against the Orange by cleaning up on penalties and slowing down their offense.
“It was a good week of preparation,” Orgeron said. “We put the last game behind us.”
LSU will host Syracuse this Saturday in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is at 6:05 and will be broadcast on ESPN 2.
