The LSU soccer team welcomed new volunteer assistant Brandon Gwin to its coaching staff on Sunday.
Gwin, a former standout at Catholic High, was hired specifically to enhance the team’s goalkeeping. Gwin also coached at Catholic from 2006-10 and played for the Baton Rouge Capitals in 2006 and 2007.
“He’s had an outstanding track record of developing goalkeepers at the high school and club levels, and we know he will help do the same with us here at LSU,” said LSU coach Brian Lee in a statement.
