Sophomore Lucy Parker was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week after scoring her first goal of the season on Sunday and helping the Tigers shutout all three of their opponents last week.
Parker played all 90 minutes in each of the Tigers victories, which included a 3-0 win at Lamar, a 2-0 win against Stetson, and another 2-0 win against Samford on Sunday.
In her first season with the Tigers, Parker started all 18 matches, and tied as the third-leading scorer, with three goals and four assists.
