Grade: D-
A movie cannot live on stars alone. While not a famous saying, the statement is still true, and “Valentine’s Day” proves it. An absolute debacle of a film, the movie trips over itself in an effort to squeeze in as many pathetically cute and predictably shallow plotlines as possible. The abundance of stars makes the whole movie feel like a string of cameos. The only reason this movie didn’t fail is because it may be the one chick flick so terrible no date would mind ditching the middle seat for the back corner.
