Mutt attacks pit bull and saves life of 3-year-old girl in Brazil

SAO PAULO (AP) — A friendly, floppy-eared mutt named Fluffy may have earned himself a new nickname in his Brazilian hometown: Ferocious-When-Necessary.
Kenya Suelen Rodrigues of the city of Campo Grande is quoted by the G1 news website as saying the normally playful and friendly dog immediately attacked a pit bull that barged into her home Wednesday and headed for her 3-year-old daughter.
