Leonard Fournette, Jamal Adams, Travin Dural and Ethan Pocic all spoke very highly of Les Miles following the announcement that he would be released by LSU.
Offensive Coordinator Cam Cameron was also let go.
All four players said they respect and will miss Coach Miles but are ready to play for new interim head coach Ed Orgeron.
Former LSU and NFL defensive end Marcus Spears also believes in LSU’s new hire.
“Ed Orgeron is a good hire because now you’re dealing with the mentality of the football team,” Spears said, “If there’s any coach they will rally behind, it’s Coach O.”
Miles addressed the team one final time before turning them over to Orgeron. In his first time addressing the team, Orgeron stressed unity and had the whole team hold a long rope to signify unity.
The tigers said they will miss Miles, but know there is still a lot of football to be played and are staying focused on the remaining eight games ahead.
“Our goal is to win out,” Dural said.
