During the two-day scored meet, LSU will face its toughest competition to date against ten of top-15 the fifteen teams in the Preseason National Team Computer Rankings, including No. 2 Texas.
“We’ll have a great idea of where we stack up on the national level as a team this early in the season with what we do in this meet,” said LSU coach Dennis Shaver. “We love these types of scored meets that give an added edge that give an added edge to the competition that will make for a great experience for our athletes and those fans coming out to watch the meet.”
Each team will be allowed two scorers per event that will factor into overall point totals with five points given for first place, three for second, two for third and one point for fourth place finishers.
