Pinpoint: The sun will rise at 7:17 AM Thursday morning. Morning temperatures will be in the mid sixties. As the day progresses, we will see a high of 84F. Evening temperatures will be in the lower eighties to mid seventies. The sun will set at 7:12 PM. The low Thursday night will be 60F.
Severe Weather Threat: Currently Louisiana is in the green, meaning we are marginalized. There are no serious threats in the weather currently. As we move into the weekend, Louisiana will reach the orange. Meaning we are at an elevated risk for severe thunderstorms that will hit Saturday.
These storms will bring the possibility of severe flooding, tornado warnings, as well as possibly hail. Make sure you are staying weather aware for your area.
Storm Tracking: Wednesday through Friday, Louisiana will have a slight green overcast. This represents low level rain chances. As we move into Saturday, we will see a heavy blue overcast. This represents the severe weather that will take place on Saturday, March 15.
7 Day: Thursday will be a partly cloudy day, with a high of 84F and a low of 60F. Friday will be a cloudy day, with a high of 84F and a low of 60F. Saturday we will see severe thunderstorms, with an elevated risk of flash flooding, hail, and tornado warnings. The high will be 81F and a low of 68F.
Those thunderstorms will bring a cold front as well, which will be seen in the low temperatures in the following days. Sunday will be a sunny day, with a high of 74F and a low of 54F. Monday will also be a sunny day, with a high of 72F and a low of 46F.
Tuesday will follow that sunny day trend, with a high of 77F and a low of 46F. Wednesday will be a partly cloudy day, with a high of 80F and a low of 49F.
