LSU sent out a survey to the student body Thursday inviting them to weigh in on the university’s upcoming presidential selection.

The surveys are intended for respondents to fill out their feedback on an individual finalist after attending one of the public forums that each candidate will hold with students in the coming days. On Thursday, Friday and Monday, a different finalist will take questions from students at 3:15 p.m. in the Union Theatre.

University of Alabama Provost James Dalton was assigned Thursday, former University of Arizona President Robert Robbins Friday and McNeese State University President Wade Rousse Monday.

The student forum is part of a day-long schedule for them to hold public forums and meetings with stakeholder groups. Finalists will also hold forums with faculty and staff. In addition, they’ll meet privately with campus leadership, student leaders and athletics administration. You can see the full schedule here.

The survey asks respondents to rate how qualified they think a finalist is, how well they understand LSU’s priorities, how effectively they communicate and how clear their vision is for the university, among others.

The university is due to select its next president Tuesday after narrowing it down to three finalists Wednesday.
