LSU Head Coach Lane Kiffin seems eager to be the next coach to lead the Tigers. He was compelled to join the staff because of the high standards LSU fans and staff have.

“I can sum it up by saying this, this place is different,” Kiffin said. “I am very grateful for the opportunity to lead one of the elite programs in all of sports.”

The transition has been anything but smooth sailing. Kiffin was told that he would not be able to coach Ole Miss through the playoffs, if he left.

“And they said you are not going to be able to talk to the team and tell them that you are leaving,” Kiffin said. “I totally respect and understand the decision they had to make for the program.”
