Despite earning 59% of the vote, presidential ticket UNITE LSU, led by John Woodard and Taylor Parks, is temporarily disqualified from the student government presidential race. 

At what was supposed to be the election results announcement, Election Commissioner Aimee Simon said the election board found a discrepancy on expense reports, as the UniteLSU ticket exceeded the limit on campaign financing.

Impact LSU, led by T Graham Howell and Kaitlin Torké, is the current winner until the appeal is decided by U-Court.
