“Gravity” may just be the best movie to be released this year. It’s hard to find much wrong with it. Sandra Bullock gives the performance of her career, leaving her Oscar-winning role in “The Blind Side” in the dust, and George Clooney also steps up his game. With their performances, it’s hard to believe that either have given occasionally awful performances in other films. The cinematography also shines. It truly feels like you’re up in space in the midst of the action. It gives the film a unique feel. In addition, seeing it in IMAX 3D is a completely immersive experience. Beside enhancing the sound and picture, the 3D in IMAX format is the best since “Avatar,” if not the best ever. It’s an experience not to be missed.
