Old teammates turned foes?

That doesn’t seem to be the case with Aneesah Morrow and Angel Reese.

Morrow was drafted to the Connecticut Sun with the seventh pick in the WNBA Draft on Monday. Joining her former teammate Angel Reese who was also drafted in the No. 7 spot to the Chicago Sky last year.

The two friends will face off on May 17th during opening weekend of the WNBA season.

“I’m looking forward to a matchup against Angel,” Morrow said. “ love her to death, but I know it’ll be two dogs clashing on the floor and trying to get as many rebounds as we can.”

Another familiar face we’ll see in this matchup, Haley Van Lith, who the Chicago Sky drafted with the No. 11 pick.
