Seven years after his last album, Justin Timberlake has announced his return to music with his new single “Suit & Tie,” featuring Jay-Z.

At first listen, the song was a bit underwhelming, but I blame that on the large amount of hype leading up to the song’s release. This track is fun, upbeat and Justin’s trademark high-pitched, soulful voice takes us back to why we fell in love with him in the first place.

It’s not surprising that the song was produced by Timbaland, who has made countless hits with Justin (“Cry Me A River,” “Sexy Back,” just to name a few). Jay-Z as a feature was a nice touch but didn’t really do much for the song. Warning: it will not be easy to get the chorus out of your head.
