Julia McConnell has grown up in Gonzales, LA and the south of France. She now resides in Baton Rouge as an LSU freshman.
McConnell is a communication studies major. She plans to become an interpreter. This spring she is applying for a french interpreter position with the Louisiana Supreme Court. McConnell says, “You’re suppose to be this invisible thing that allows two people to communicate to people that don’t speak the same language to communicate; which I think is really cool.”
McConnell expresses the thoughts of other people through language, but expresses herself through music and art.
This spring, she is considering auditioning for NBC’s “The Voice”.
