LSU Instructor Dan Frost tells us why buying textbooks are essential. Frost says the only reason an instructor usually assigns a textbook is
because there’s stuff that he’s not covering she’s not covering that they want you to have so if you’re not having that textbook and you’re not getting that material. Frost says that not buying textbooks can hurt students grades.
Textbooks are essential for excelling in school but can be costly on an average students pockets.
LSU student Stephanie Henderson says she spends an average $500 on textbooks a semester she says the price of textbooks are very high and necessary.
With textbooks prices steadily increasing Chimes Bookstore manager tells us how he tries to make books affordable for students. Chimes Bookstore Manager, Nick Guerra says he tries to keep books affordable for students. Guerra states that they try to provide the lowest prices and offer used books for college students on a budget.
