Flying Lotus (Stephen Ellison) is an electronic musician, producer, and great nephew of jazz pianist Alice Coltrane. Raised in Los Angeles, FlyLo debuted on Warp records with his Reset EP, and became one of the label’s cornerstone artists, having since released 5 albums under the name Flying Lotus, and one rap album as his evil alter-ego Captain Murphy. Collaborating with the likes of Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Herbie Hancock, his cinematic beats and unique, astral  sound suites are sure to impress most anyone. His latest album You’re Dead!, released Oct. 7 on Warp Records, is a foray into jazz-fusion.
