ESPN ranked the LSU student section as the best in the country. So what makes it the best?
We went to the LSU tailgate to ask the students.
“All the seats are empty because everyone is on their feet,” LSU student John Dietz said. 
Dietz is definitely correct. LSU students are so passionate that they barely sit down. Most of the game is spent standing and yelling all of the traditional cheers.
Former LSU and Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marcus Spears also talked about how the student section helps the players on the field.
“It’s a special section,” Spears stated. 
The student section helps make Tiger Stadium one of the most intimidating places to play. Any former or current student would say it is an experience like no other.
