The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed that LSU sophomore wide receiver Travin Dural suffered minor injuries in a car accident that occurred on Sunday morning in Baton Rouge.
Dural has stitches in his forehead from the accident and was held out of practice on Monday and Tuesday. LSU Head Coach Les Miles said Dural will play in Saturday’s game against the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Through the Tigers’ first two games, Dural holds a school-record 291 receiving yards on six catches. Along with his team-leading four touchdown grabs, Dural leads the nation with a 48.5 yards per catch average.
