The University announced a list of services that would close or see adjusted hours Tuesday as the city was met with freezing temperatures and the possibility of snow.
Services closed on Tuesday include:
- LSU – All Classes Canceled
- LSU Lab School – Closed
- LSU Childcare Center – Closed
- LSU AgCenter – Closed
- Pennington Biomedical Research Center – Closed
- LSU Law School – Closed
- LSU Bookstore – Closed
- Ricoh Printing Services at LSU – Closed
- Middleton Library and Hill Memorial Library – Closed
- LSU Museum of Art – Closed
- LSU Rural Life Museum – Closed Tuesday and Wednesday
- Campus Transit – Not operational
- Tiger Trails – Not operational
- LSU Ticket Office – Closed
- LSU SportShop located on campus – Closed
- School of Music – All performances canceled
- Night of Pozitivity with Mondo Guerra – Canceled
Services with adjusted hours of operation included:
- LSU Student Health Center – Open for emergencies only; all appointments for Tuesday are canceled
- LSU Union – All events are canceled; Outtakes closed at 10 p.m. Monday; open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday
- LSU Dining – The 5 and 459 Dining halls, as well as the attached Outtakes and Take 5 stores, will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; McDonald’s in the Student Union will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- UREC – 5:45 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- LSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital – Closed; anyone with appointments or emergencies should call before coming to campus. Small Animal Clinics (pets) 225-578-9600. Large Animal Clinic (225-578-9500).
