Students congregated in the quad for the Stand Up, Walk Out protest on Monday.
The event was held in response to a Missouri court ruling that the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown would not face indictment.
The decision was announced last week. But students who just returned from Thanksgiving break had the opportunity to voice themselves on Monday.
