Splatterbeat | Parade Ground
Students are encouraged by the Resident Hall Association to head to the Parade Ground from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to kick off Homecoming week. Those attending are asked to wear white to celebrate the Homecoming theme, “Championship Status,” and prepare to get messy.
TASA Domestic Violence Awareness Tabling | Free Speech Alley
Tigers Against Domestic Assault is holding an informational table in Free Speech Alley from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Their goal is to spread awareness about domestic violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Homecoming Movie Night | LSU Student Union
Student Government is hosting a screening of Barbie to celebrate Homecoming week. The movie will be shown in the Royal Cotillion Ballroom on the third floor of the Student Union. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:00 p.m. The screening will last until 9:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite Barbie characters.

Battle of the Bands | Parade Ground
Five bands consisting of LSU students will perform at the Parade Ground from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This year’s LSU Homecoming Court will judge and have the ultimate say in crowning the Best Performance of the Battle of Bands. Students are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Geaux Divas Live | LSU Student Union
The annual Geaux Dive Live drag show will be held in the Student Union Ballroom and begin at 7:00 p.m. Performances by Andy Black, London Manchester, Santana A. Savage and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 star) are all expected.
Spanish Club Introductory Meeting | Hodges Hall
The Spanish Club at LSU will be hosting its first introductory meeting from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in room 325 of Hodges Hall. This meeting is to gauge general interests in the Spanish Club and give potential members a chance to give their input on future events and things they would want out of the Spanish Club.

“What the Hay?” Homecoming Hay Bales | S. Stadium and Highland
“What the Hay?” is an annual Homecoming tradition at LSU. The College of Ag clubs and student groups decorate hay bales and are scored on how creative and in tune with this year’s homecoming theme they are.
The hay bale pieces can be viewed at the greenspace on the corner of S. Stadium and Highland Road, starting Monday, October 16, and judging will occur on Friday, October 20.

LSU vs. Army Football Game | Tiger Stadium
LSU will host West Point, the United States Military Academy, in Death Valley. The game will begin at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are still available at lsusports.net.

Stephen King’s “Misery” | Theatre Baton Rouge
Theatre Baton Rouge will host a production of Stephen King’s classic novel, Misery, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The tickets are sold for $35 for adults, but are only $25 for students. Theatre Baton Rouge is located at 7155 Florida Boulevard.
