For one of the final opinion pieces of the semester, I figured I’d cover a topic everyone loves: politics!
GOP candidates for the presidency are finally coming forward. But they all are trying to compete with one notable candidate from the Democratic Party– our friendly neighborhood Hillary.
While everyone fawns over the former Secretary of State, though, I’d like to call out a few important issues I have with her.
First, her involvement in the Benghazi scandal is a terrible reflection of her leadership capabilities. She did that thing that upset so many people– that I definitely understood– and that was truly atrocious. I trusted her before then. Afterward, I wasn’t too sure. Because of that thing she did or didn’t do… or something.
Next, her leniency on that President Bill guy shows how she could not possibly stand on her own. Why does she hang out with him so much, anyway? What’s up with them? I can only assume Bill is cheating on his gal Monica with her. (Let’s be honest, though. He and Hills don’t seem to have that much chemistry.)
And what about the email fiasco? Remember when she had that scandal earlier this year? Not so trustworthy anymore, huh? She deleted important emails, including messages regarding really important shrimp dip recipes (according to the article that I definitely read in its entirety). What a terrible representative for a political party.
Her stint as Secretary of State in general was questionable. It was under Obama, who is a bad President because he takes away freedoms, religion, guns and heterosexuality, according to an article I once more definitely read in its entirety. She wants the same things as Obama, which basically means she wants to turn America into a communist wasteland.
Lastly, we must deal with a fact that no one can deny. Hills is a blonde. Can’t trust blondes.
So if you’re going to go with a blonde Hillary, it’s best to choose Hilary Duff.
She is what dreams are made of.
