LSU will officially implement a new plus/minus grading system in 2015 Fall semester. The new grading system will be required for all undergraduate, graduate and professional courses.
The system distinguishes higher and lower performances by attaching (+) or (-) suffixes to letter grades.
The ‘F’ letter grade does not include the plus/minus distinction.
