Pro-Vitter PAC backed by Vitter’s biggest donors

LSUReveille.com campaign finance analysis shows that Vitter’s largest donor is one of the main backers of pro-Vitter PAC The Fund for Louisiana’s Future. This combined with the $850,000 Vitter’s campaign donated to the PAC shows close ties between the Vitter campaign and the ostensibly independent PAC.

Galliano Marine Service in Cut Off, Louisiana is based at 16201 East Main Street in Cut Off. Reveille analysis found 15 donations totaling $75,000 made from that address to Vitter from 15 different but closely related names.
