LSUPD officers forced entry into a stalled vehicle on Highland Road Friday afternoon after officers confirmed the driver was unresponsive and observed a weapon in the car, according to a statement from LSU Media Relations director Ernie Ballard.
Officers found a gun and drugs in the vehicle, and the uninjured suspect is now in custody, according to the statement.
Ballard confirmed the suspect is not a student. 
LSU Media Relations could not confirm the charges but the investigation is ongoing.
