LSU Academic Programs Abroad will host the Study Abroad Fair Tuesday, where several programs will be on-hand to persuade students to go global for their studies.
But how well do students on campus know their basic geography? LSU Lately reporter Shervin Asayesh ventured to the quad to test their knowledge.
You’d be surprised to learn how many oceans there are according to LSU students. Some say one. Some say seven.
We’re also inclined to believe that those from Amsterdam are not, as some students said, “Amsterdamian.”
And we showed students some flags, seeing if they could identify their origin. Believe it or not, Africa does not have its own flag.
The Study Abroad Fair will take place September 22nd and 23rd in the LSU Royal Cotillion Ballroom. You can learn more about study abroad programs at lsu.edu/studyabroad.
