Donte Jackson, a five-star rated athlete from Riverdale High School in New Orleans, committed to LSU on Wednesday morning.
The 5’11” 170 pound Jackson chose the Tigers over Georgia and projects to play defensive back in Baton Rouge. According to 247sports.com, he is the No. 1 player from Louisiana and the No. 10 player in the nation.
Jackson played offense, defense and returned kicks for Riverdale last season, tallying 20 touchdowns, 5 interceptions and 59 tackles.
With the signing of Jackson, LSU now has the No. 10 overall recruiting class and is No. 5 in the Southeastern Conference in the 247sports.com 2015 composite rankings.
