The episode opens as Slater arrives to the ex-ISIS (still unnamed) headquarters to deliver a new mission to Archer and Lana. He informs them that they will be conducting an operation in Argentina. They are to help extract a CIA freelancer from Buenos Aires whose cover has been blown and is in need of a distraction.
The mission is to aide the mystery agent in stealing a computer file that contains the true identity of all the CIA agents working in Central and South America, which the Argentine government has threatened to sell to the Soviets.
The freelancer, Slater hints, is someone they’ve previously worked with.
After probing them shortly, he reveals that this agent is Conway Stern, who betrayed them back in season one’s episode “Diversity Hire.”
Archer is clearly upset over this, declaring “He literally stabbed me in the back!”
Because the mission is so dangerous, Mallory declares that she would be AJ’s, better known as Abbiejean’s, caretaker.
This causes a rift between Archer and Lana, because she doesn’t agree with Mallory being a suitable caretaker. They argue the issue in their spare time throughout the episode.
Upon meeting with Conway again, Archer sets out on a revenge rampage and the two get into a prolonged bloody fight.
Back in the office, Mallory loses track of AJ and confronts Cheryl, the only person on staff who she knows hates babies. She approaches her in a bathroom stall and begins choking her while yelling that she must have murdered AJ.
Cheryl and Pam agree to help Mallory search for her.
Meanwhile, Archer, Lana and Conway are just arriving to Argentine headquarters in their disguises.Archer poses as a limo driver with several Argentinian names, while Conway and Lana are posed as the president and first lady of Brazil on a pan-American goodwill tour of intelligence headquarters.
As usual, when obstacles become difficult, Archer takes over. “I’m Archer-izing this plan!,” he screams as he exits the limo. He finds himself fighting several Argentinian guards while Lana and Conway sit and watch from the back of the locked limo.
In a flash back to the events occurring in the office, it is discovered that Kreager took AJ because he wanted to use her as inspiration for the robotic teddy bear he is building, Cyber Nedly Tedly.
Mallory has everyone agree that they will keep the incident from Lana since no harm was done, but does threaten to shoot Kreager in the genitals if he ever took the baby again.
After the computer file is retrieved, Conway double crosses Lana and Archer for a second time, keeping his theme of shooting Archer in the back alive.
As Conway prepares to leave with the file, he tells Lana to call him if things don’t work out with AJ or if she loses her baby weight, which causes Lana to rip off his other hand in a fit of rage and steal the file from him.
When exiting the building, Slater shows up to rescue them, letting them know that they purposely sent them into a mission with Conway knowing that he would double cross them again.
On the ride back to the headquarters, Lana and Archer finally discuss who would take care of AJ if they ever died on a mission.
She says first it would be her parents, and then her sister if anything happened to them. She didn’t tell him originally because she didn’t want to hurt his feelings.
Archer, not aware that Lana had a sister and being his usual self, asks if she’s younger.
