The LSU Faculty Senate voted Thursday afternoon to table a resolution that would add pluses or minuses to students’ letter grades.
 
The senate unanimously agreed to revisit the issue after a task force had been formed to investigate it further.
 
Several faculty members spoke for and against the measure, and issues brought up included problems with transfer students, course prerequisites and cost.
